Connecting Women Financial Advisors in the Chicagoland and beyond
Our Story
Women Who Advise is a new group for women financial advisors founded by women financial advisors with the goal of elevating women in our community through building relationships and sharing ideas. Our hope is to close the gap between the percentage of women controlling wealth and the women advising them.
We envision women from all firms including independents coming together for mentoring opportunities, networking, and rallying our collective talents to make an impact in local communities. We also want to make a difference and introduce girls and young women to the field of financial advising.
Our mission is to help women manage their career, grow their business, and support the next generation of women advisors.

Giving Back Corner
Our first initiative partnered with Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana for “A Day in the Life of a Financial Advisor.”
We shared our career paths, the rewards of advising, and introduced key financial concepts to build confidence and awareness of the profession and financial literacy.
We also collaborated with My Block, My City, My Hood, hosting an after-school session for high school girls focused on budgeting, salary, and career discussions—followed by a similar event at a CPS high school.
These programs help girls and young women see what’s possible in finance and encourage future advisors to envision themselves in our industry.
